Prince George, B.C.- Transat Holidays has announced its fourth season of sunspot charters out of Prince George to Puerto Vallarta will start December 20th and operate Saturdays until March 28th! This is the first time the charter has been extended into late March with hopes of making the flights available to Spring Breakers.
Transat Holidays in conjunction with WestJet Airlines are offering holiday packages to Puerto Vallarta Mexico utilizing WestJet’s new generation 737 aircraft with leather seating and ExpressVu TV.
Transat Holidays and WestJet Airlines first offered Snow to Sand charters out of Prince George in the winter of 2005.

No layovers, no switching planes, 1 security check, 5 hours from wheels up to sun & cerveza. Hopefully these continue. Cancun or Cuba direct would be nice.
Exactly, govsux. Non-stop is a VERY important consideration for any experinced traveller.
Are the seats crammed together like they used to be when flying with Transat? Last time ('97) I said "NEVER AGAIN" poor service, cramped flight for 4 to 5 hours, no thanks.
But if Westjet is handling things as they usually do, I would be all for it. Now, if someone can arrange for a nice two week vacation.......
metalman.

For every action there is a reaction, in this case the daily flights to Seattle could have a detrimental effect on the limited PV service.
This would be a short term problem as it looks like Horizen Air will not be able to get the 60% payload they need to continue the Seattle service which means that they will disapear next May along with our $400,000.00.
