Prince George, B.C. - Highway 16-East near Mount Robson Provincial Park has been closed due to an accident...

Few details are available at this time, the incident was reported on the DriveBC website just before 1:30am.  The mishap occurred approximately 65-kilometres east of the junction with Highway 5.  Both lanes of Highway 16 are expected to remain closed until 7am.

Meantime, Ministry of Transportation officials are reporting a vehicle collision on Highway 97, just south of Chetwynd, has that route down to single-lane alternating traffic.

Highway 16-West has been re-opened after a collision involving a Greyhound bus and a transport truck on Friday afternoon, near New Hazelton.  But motorists are being advised not to travel the route in the Terrace and Smithers areas due to extreme winter weather conditions.
