Prince George, BC -  The Regional District of Fraser Fort George is monitoring the rising Fraser River, but has no reports of flooding in any areas under close watch.

RDFFG Manager of External Relations, Reneé McCloskey says, at this point, the Emergency Operations Centre has not been re-activated, but says that will likely happen in the next couple of days if the water level continues to rise as forecast.

The preliminary forecast from the BC River Forecast Centre suggests the river could hit between 10.2m and 10.6m by mid-week.  McCloskey says 10-metres is typically the benchmark for flooding trouble within the regional district.

Within the city, the flood level at South Fort George is between 9.2m and 9.4m.
