Identity of Fraser River Deceased Released

Prince George, B.C.- The  Northern Region Coroner's office  has confirmed the identity of the man who  was  found in the Fraser River near Lansdowne Road yesterday.

The deceased is  65 year old  Colin Oliver Wesley of Prince George.

Initially, Prince George RCMP  had received a report of a man's body floating  in the river near Fort George Park.  Police recovered the body about 4 kilometres  further downstream.

Foul play has been ruled  out, and the Coroners Service continues to investigate this death.
