Still No Sign of Parolee

Prince George, B.C. - It has been five months since a Canada Wide warrant was issued for the suspension of Jarrod Lane's parole. The suspension issued after he failed to return to the Prince George halfway house he was living in, and drug tests came back positive.
RCMP are asking for the public's help in locating Lane.
The 40 year old had been released from jail on day parole in March of this year with a residency condition. He hasn't been seen since March 28th whenhe failed to return to the halfway house.
Lane has a lengthy criminal record which consists of numerous property related offences, breaches of trust, drug possession and one conviction for Assaulting a Peace Officer. He received his aggregate sentence due to victimizing the elderly. He was sentenced to 8 years for Robbery, Break and Enter and Theft.
Jarrod Lane is described as;
- Caucasian Male
- 6' tall, 186 lbs
- brown hair
- hazel eyes
RCMP have been looking for Lane and continue to follow up on a number of tips. He may have traveled to Vancouver Island as he has a number of contacts in the Victoria and Nanaimo areas.
