Prince George, B .C. - Calling it a "New Ice Age", the owners of the  Prince George Cougars have now officially   sent out the invitation to  hockey fans in the community to  meet  the new ownership team,  and a couple of former Cougars.

Starting at 11:30 AM, on  Tuesday May 13th, an outdoor barbeque will be held outside the CN Centre  ( food is free)

A media conference  is  set  to start inside the  CN Centre   at 12:15, but fans are invited to  attend that as well,.  The new management team will   introduce  themselves as well as the management team they have  put  together.  Among those in attendance will be the NHL's Dan Hamhuis, while Eric Brewer will be there in  voice  and spirit as he links up by phone.  Both Hamhuis and Brewer played for the Cougars.

Fans will hear all about the "New Ice Age" theme and  ticket information.

At the end of the event, fans are invited to a cake cutting ceremony/meet and greet with the new ownership group.

Good luck gentlemen, the city is behind you and happy to have the change of ownership..

Cant remember the previous owners doing anything for free, let alone free food.

Hire Hockey People Please......
Would love to attend, but can't make it on a Tuesday afternoon.

Definitely looking forward to seeing what the New Ice Age is all about!

Go Cats Go!!!!!
I hope all the fans who left will give the "new ice age" a chance. It will not be an overnight miracle recovery, but with fan support and encouragement plus a lot of hard work by the coaches and players....I think we will all make it happen for the Cougars and our City. Go Cats Go!!!!!
